ABOUT THE OWNER
Lynda Moreau, owner of Silent Partners Estate Sales of New Orleans, was born and reared in Louisiana. She moved to New Orleans in 1978 to attend the University of New Orleans, where she majored in History with specialties in the War Between the States and Victorian England.

Ms. Moreau has been in the antiques and collectibles business for over 30 years, starting as a collector, then renting space in various antique malls, and finally owning her own shop on Magazine Street. After years of attending and buying at local estate sales, and being approached many times by her clients to conduct estate sales for members of their families, in 2011 Lynda decided to open her own estate liquidation company as a sideline to her retail business.

In just two short years her first estate sale business, Silent Partners Estate Sales of New Orleans, became so successful that it has become her main occupation. As a result, Lynda gave up her stand-alone antiques shop to concentrate on conducting professional residential estate and liquidation sales on a full-time basis.

Currently, Silent Partners is conducts an average of 3-4 advertised estate sales a month in the greater New Orleans and North Shore area, along with appointment-only sales and private cleanouts and liquidations. Several years ago, Lynda earned her accreditation as an Accredited Estate Liquidator from the American Association of Estate Liquidators. She is currently the only operator in the State of Louisiana to successfully gain this achievement.

Lynda is a Sustainer in the Junior League of New Orleans, and is active in the Daughters of the American Revolution and many other local organizations. A resident of Metairie, Lynda has been married for over 30 years to her best friend and business partner, Mr. Shannon Walgamotte. They have two grown children and a rescued Boston Terrier named Chester.
